6th Grade:: “THE ENVIRONMENT AND YOU” Most all students will complete their required Service Learning Project for 6th grade while at North Bay. An alternative project will be done here at school for those students who do not attend North Bay. We may do additional projects in the spring, where students can receive meritorious hours. This project will be completed the week of September 15th. Make ups for transfer students and students who were not able to attend North Bay will be done throughout the school year.

7th Grade: : “FOOD FOR THOUGHT” Seventh graders will be completing their Service Learning requirement by completing research and preparing for their Earth Day event. The students will be researching the effects of pollution on drinking water and vegetation, how pesticides effect their health and environment, and how they can make a difference in improving their environmental conditions through recycling and healthy life choices. This project will be completed April 25th. Make ups for transfer students and students who were not able to attend Earth Day will be done throughout the school year.

8th Grade: “SAVING THE PAST FOR THE FUTURE” The Eighth grade this year will work with the Purple Heart Federation to complete their Veterans Project.
